So what is my plan? I have decided that every day I will involve myself in a variety of activities so that I don't get burnt put on any one. I will clean, I will sew or craft, I will organize, I will read and what ever I can come up with. I will get back to cooking for myself and hopefully I will spend less money and save up for some fum when this is all over.
I started with my crafting over the weekend. My plan is to finish one small project every day and also work on a larger one. My first item was a grocery tote bag that can be used to avoid the dread plastic bag. It is a heat transfer vinyl fused onto a canvas bag. I purchased the bag and then cut the design using my Scan n Cut electronic cutter. I think the bag cost me $3 and the vinyl was scraps left over from other projects. Quick and easy. The hard part will now be remembering to take it into the grocery store with me.
Today, I finished up 3 pillowcases that I began working on last week, I was making them for a family celebration in April which due to the lovely virus and travel restrictions has been canceled. I will still make them in hopes that when this is all over we will be able to schedule another gathering. It's been too long since we have all been together. So I have 3 done, 3 more in the works and I have 5 more I still need to get fabric for and make. Making pillowcases is so easy and quick. These were just supposed to be fun ones representative of the person I was giving each one to.
So that's it for today. The only thing I want to accomplish today yet is dinner, stuffed bake potato, and some reading. Those things done I can watch TV play on my computer or even go to bed. These days I guess I will just go with the flow, yet do my best to have a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day.
Everyone, stay safe and healthy and enjoy yourself and those around you if you have others living in your home. See you tomorrow!
